I tried to run the latest preview/beta release of PortableApps platform menu with screen readers but found its interface still inaccessible. I use NVDA (nvda-project.org) and SA (serotek.com) screen readers. Since I have to rely on a keyboard navigation, e.g. up/down arrow, mouse input would not work either.
Best regards,

PortableApps Menu Interface
We're working on a fix for it. In the meantime, could you be sure this works properly for you?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I downloaded and ran the ScreenReaderTest4 from https://portableapps.com/node/28780 and had following results.
The NVDA is certainly able to read all the items in the menu, as well as the "close" button. However, folders and apps listed in the menu are being read twice by the NVDA, e.g. documents ... Documents, as you navigate through them.
SA (System Access), on the other hand, is correctly reading the same folders and apps as listed. However, SA is unable to read the "close" button.

Please report it in the other thread so they're all in one place. NVDA used to have bugs with both the apps and folders, so it looks like they fixed some of their bugs. NVDA has always been a bit buggy, though.
