Meta Trader 4 (MT4) for forex

I too, would LOOOOOVE the MT4 Platform to be ported over to Portable Apps. Just think of it, being able to trade at work without a trace. . . being able to trade from any computer . . . without a trace. Is there any word anywhere on the implementation of this?

From one member of the community to another, welcome to PortableApps.com. Unfortunately, both Meta Trader 4 & 5 are commercial software. As such, you would:

1. not be able to download it here, as you would not have permission to do so from MetaQuotes. The license would also definately prohibit repackaging.
2. not see it here, as only open source or freeware is posted here.

Would be nice, but not going to happen. Think of it this way. Can you download their software from anyplace else other than their website? If not, chances are that because the license prohibits it, so it could never be listed here. It is the same as any software by Adobe, Microsoft, etc...
