I want to modify a Splash Screen from You, for a new Portable App. Could you tell me the fonts that you used in the Screen? Or Upload a Gimp/Photoshop or whatever Template?
That would be very nice!

why is the starter opensource but the splash not? it's easy to modify the starter but splash only as jpp

The PortableApps.com logo can only appear on apps published through this site or using the same techniques (directory layouts, nothing left behind, open source, in-place upgrades, CD support, etc) and in partnership (like GVim Portable just was) so the app can be tested for compatibility on multiple operating systems and for stability. Anyone is free to use the code to make their own apps, but to use the logo and branding, it needs to meet the above criteria and be tested. Thus, the splash screen PSDs are not released. The fonts can not be provided either as, like most fonts (unfortunately), they are under a commercial license.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I actually used Photoshop to modify them. It's pretty simple.

Are they using the PortableApps.com logo without permission??
I havent checked them all whether they have a logo at all but the OpenOffice has a modified one.
I use the "originals" from this site with localisation. Works fine. But sometimes it would be nice using the german version.
I know its not entirely the right topic but it fits in well.
I'm so looking forward to using FFP 2.0..!!
