App not starting after update to 9.0 and a random pc crash

Hi,

Now I get the error message "Thunderbird has ceased to run" when I start the app, with those details even if I reinstall the app over the folder:

I suppose some file got corrupted, and I wonder if there is a way for me to import to a fresh new installation all my newsgroup account settings such as folders and subscriptions ?

Reinstall

You can reinstall right over your current copy. That'll fix any app files that are broken without impacting your personally settings.

You can also wait until later when 9.0.1 is posted. It's uploading now.
