False update

Greetings! I have a problem with update system on PortableApps Platform. I'm using Firefox Portable and update it manually (through browser menu), it's already have last version (9.0.1) and when I start PortableApps Platform it ask me to download an update for FF. How can I fix this mistake?

You should only ever update

You should only ever update through the platform (or manually with the package released here), not from the app itself. This goes with all apps released here, not just Firefox.

While updating through the app may work to some extent, it does not update the supporting files needed for portability, including the one that tells the platform what version the app is at (which means the app will be at latest version, but the platform thinks it is an older version, as you have experienced).

The other reason to not update through the app but only through the platform is that if the newer version of the app has changed the way in which it interacts with the host operating system (adding new files, using files from a different directory, adding new registry keys), it can potentially break portability.
