my problem with Scribus Port 1.4.0, it won't start by doubleclicking "ScribusPortable.exe" in home dir, or via shortcut. Running XP Pro SP2 -
Can chase it further from my end or supply further info.
Hope to use it soon for my resumé

I installed .paf.exe twice, from diff. sources, no diff in behaviour.
From C drive, not using an USB stick. Also not using Port. Apps front end.

As mentioned in IRC, I've found the issue, fixed it, and a fixed build will be coming soon.
