Install PDF import extension silently

We have Open Office portable bundled along with our application server to view office documents as pdf files.

We would like to use it to open up PDF files as well. Is it possible to install PDF import extension silently?

We don't want cutomers to launch open office to add the extension. Rather import the extension via a script or something.

If so how do we do it.

Why not use LibreOffice?

OpenOffice is pretty much stalled in development, and the developers have all moved to LibreOffice.
LibreOffice has built-in support for PDF import.
