A couple of quick questions . . .
Where did the icons on the Apps page come from? Are they free to use in other apps and redistribute?

The app icons are from the apps themselves. The extension icon is from Firefox. The category icons are most from the Tango Desktop Project. Some were created by me based on the Tango ones. And then there's the Linux penguin. It's detailed on the Copyrights and Trademarks page which is linked from the site footer.

I recognised them from somewhere.
I'm sensing the fact you only recently add that

The icons or the notice? The directory is still pretty new. And I added the copyright/trademark page at the same time. Only thing is, it's a regular page and not a story or book page, so it's not automatically linked from anywhere... and I'd forgotten to link to it from the footer (it was like 3am when I finished adding the icons).

Well, I recognised the icons and the notice at the bottom was new.
