[Closed] Multiple Profile Support for Mozilla Firefox 1.1 Seeks in \FirefoxPortable

Multiple Profile Support for Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird and SeaMonkey, Portable Editions 1.1

Installed it into my portable Firefox installation, which added the FirefoxPortable2ndProfile.exe file.

Attempting to launch Firefox Portable for this second profile, it fails due to the following error message:

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition 2nd Profile cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue. (ERROR: D:\app\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe)

The reason for it being the fact that my portable Firefox is installed in D:\app\ff , instead of the suggested D:\app\FirefoxPortable so the Multiple Profile support fails to find the FirefoxPortable.exe. The installation instructions suggest that it is to be installed in the same directory as Firefox portable which is exactly what I did, and FirefoxPortable.exe is in the same directory as FirefoxPortable2ndProfile.exe so it have no trouble in determining this.

D:\app\ff>ls -l

Different meaning of "same directory"

The "same directory" that it is speaking of is the parent directory; the FirefoxPortable2ndProfile part is automatically appended in the installer when you select a given directory, and it's the same with Firefox. Thus, the final installation directories must be siblings, with the Firefox one named FirefoxPortable (the standard name). Otherwise it won't work.
