2.03: Updated Base App (2012-11-19)
Development Test 1 (2012-04-29):
Initial release, program will still default to your C drive, choose options then custom and manually point the data folder profile of each application you want to optimize. Still need work on updating drive in the XML file created. Preference.xml will reside in the data folder. Need testers as well as help in improving this, also will run in command line mode with info on main page link. If you do not wish to optimize the Host Computer make sure to un-check them in main box
Want to see if I can automate program to scan drive it resides in? Automate drive changes? Possibly remove hook to the host computer?

yes, I would love it if you can get it scan the drive it resides in
For SpeedyFox 1.6 I managed to kludge together a Batch file that did this (as long as the Firefox Portable directories matched the batch file :-p) but with the new version the command line commands changed and I couldn't figure out how to get it (via a Batch file) to use the current drive letter
But this worries me...
I noticed from it's homepage that it says that the reason these internet apps start up slowly "is fragmentation of profile databases." So does this mean it defrags the profile (as well as part of the drive where the profile resides in?)
Then again, it seems to shrink the size of the profile as well, and as far as I know, defragging doesn't make files smaller...
Perhaps it's a combination of defragmenting and compression, or neither.
Anyway, I think it'd be a good idea to contact the developer (since it seems your tight with him already) and see if there's some form of defragmenting going on (just to be safe for those of us on flash drives).
If it is an actual database file being manipulated (depending on the database type) it would be more likely optimizing or compacting & repairing the db file.
This would explain smaller filesize as it would remove placeholder space taken by entries no longer in the database.
the sqlite databases. I am not all that tight with developer. I stumbled upon it in reading a ZDNet forum and thought I would try to make a go of it since it since it will, if pointed correctly optimize portable FF

First, if it speeds things up; Second, does it mess up the profiles any?
It's a simple sqlite vacuum command. You can run it yourself using any of our sqlite development tools as well. It's just a little more convenient. There's nothing unique about the method. There's even a Firefox extension that does it, too.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
