Gimp 2.8 crashes on start up

Gimp new launched version 2.8 crashes on start up and will not load. The issues seems to be related to zlib1.dll I have loaded sample error messages here: http://greentouchpestcontrol.com/gimp-start-error.jpg

I welcome any help.
