I am requesting FTP functionality more than a specific app.
I would like to use filezilla to transfer various app paf files and then install that file manually, i.e. "Install a New App".
The reason is that my client sites lockout downloads but not FTP :-).
If we are allowed to download the paf files via portableapps.com -> Home Screen -> Latest apps and news... THEN FTP is just another way of doing that.

As none of our hosting providers offer FTP downloads of any type, we would have to create (and pay for) a specific infrastructure for it. And, as FTP is very unpopular for downloads these days, it would only be used by a handful of users. As such, we can't really justify the expense and added effort.
You could look into proxying.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
