Hello!
Since I installed Firefox to my USB stick the local firefox installation on my desktop PC stopped remembering form data (search fields, quick search field in firefox, etc.). That is, it only remembers the data for the current session, but after i close all instances of FF all form data is lost.
tools -> options > saved forms -> save form data is checked
i also tried checking and checking it but the problem remains.
any ideas?

Firefox Portable and a local Firefox installation are independent and don't share profiles or executable files, so it would be a coincidence. Although, you do know that if you attempt to start a local FF while the portable one is running, it will just launch another instance of the portable one, right? (that's the way FF works)

hmmm, that is strange. what could have caused it then? or better, how could i fix it?
