The automatic language switching doesn't work. When running the installer, the prefered language is always choosen (in my case german). But after installation the software remains in english and has to be set up manually to the prefered language.

When you select German in the installer, it does not affect the installed app, it is only the language for the installer. Automatic language switching only works in conjunction with the PortableApps.com Platform and then only for apps that support it. There are a couple apps that have added installer functionality where it does select the language for you (like LibreOffice Portable) but this is not the norm and not a bug in the apps that lack it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
