PFirefox.exe Default Browser and open links problem

Pfirefox.exe is OPEN and working fine, but when I click a link in anywhere I get 'Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.'

how can i make it open any link ?
