I don't find such an thread here... so i would say paint.net as an alternative to gimp...

Nope

It's .NET based so it can't be portable.
Search the forums for .NET

it wont work, if every pc on which i want to use paint.net, have .net installed?

i'm searched for ".net", but there are sooo many threads... *g*

Apps on my Portable Device:
Miranda, Firefox, Sunbird, Thunderbird, 7-Zip, FileZilla, GIMP, OOo, Sodoku and VLC

There was a really good one somewhere. Can't remember where it was. BTW it's you use a colon ( : ) then a D ( D ) to show a grin like this: Biggrin

Framakey have a Portable Paint.net. The drawback like mentioned here and their site is that the machine you run it on has to have .net installed. The version they have is 2.6, I think Paint.net is now at 2.72 and requires .net 2.0.
