Portableapps.com is beautiful site and effort to creating portable apps.
Having the splash screen is a little waste of time in the app loading and unnecessary. We all know how good portableapps.com is and there's no need for further advertising. It is known in its own right. So please disable it.

In the platform click Options and go to the Advanced tab. Select the checkbox for Disable App Splash Screens.
The splash screens are there for a few reasons. For some apps, they are to show that something is happening during launch. For others, they are to indicate that it is different than the standard app so users know to see us for difficulties with the portablization. They don't cause apps to start slower and are shown in parallel with the launcher doing the portablization of the app and then the app starting.
And, as indicated above, you just need to tick a box in the PortableApps.com Platform and they all get turned off for you without needing to edit a single INI file.
