Trying to launch RawTherapy on a Windows 7 x64 machine with VC Redistributable 2005, 2008 and 2010 x86 and x64 versions installed:

Runs without issue on a totally clean Windows XP SP3 machine without any of those things. Could be a 64 issue (in that it is expecting a specific 64-bit C++ runtime). I'll look into it.

Could you try running it from the root directory (copy the launcher and App and Data directories to the root of any drive) so we can know what EXE/DLL is triggering the error?
AFTER you do that and find the proper thing causing the error, could you try installing the x64 version, just temporarily, to see if it works on your system?

John, the installed version worked just fine. I've found the cause of the problems. It was my fault: I've replaced the original libpng14-14.dll with a more recent version, libpng15-15.dll, from GIMP 2.8.
With the original libpng14-14.dll the portable works fine.
