I Recently upgraded both, the platform and most of the applications.
Now on a call for LibreOffice it shows the small window for startup, tells me something about a repository for bundled extensions, announces starting a danish (?!) spell checking dictionary and then ...
The progress bar reaches about 50% ...
The LO-startup-window vanishes and no further action is to be seen.
I have tried both: the upgrade by PortableApps and the ...paf.exe from LibreOffice site. Same result.
A windows install of LO (same version) on the same system works fine.
You know the solution? Please let me know too!

Hiding [PAroot]\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable\Data\settings\user (by renaming to user.old) caused the startup process to run very long. The App did by that not really start but after having ended up there was (as expected) a new ... \Data\settings\user. A second call to PA LibreOffice resulted in a running instance.
The cause of the original problem remains hidden. Another question is, in what way "values" of user-objects might be retrieved functional.
