Sunbird: Calendar Variations on Home/Work Computers

I'm using PSB on my Flash Drive, and I've noticed that I can't see events that I enter at work when I'm home and vice versa. I'm using the default profile...any idea why this is happening? Do I need to run it locally in addition to running it on my flash drive, and if so, what's the point in having PSB in the first place?

Did you specify

Did you specify a calendar location when you created a new one? If you did, then that calendar isn't portable. You need to leave them in their default location.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

No, but...

Ah. I just checked, and the default calendar was being kept on the C drive...weird. I've fixed it now. Thanks.

Actually....

I find that the problem occurs when I use SunTray...I change the location of the calendar and when I relaunch, it changes back to C. Is it just completely uncompatible with PSB?

I don't know, but

the minimize to tray extension for Firefox and Thunderbird works with Sunbird starting v0.3a1, and it doesn't cause any problems that I know of with any of the portable versions (though sadly, it hasn't been updated for FF2 yet).

Okays, so how do I use it with PSB?

I've tried installing the minimize to tray ext. with a command line option (which I don't really understand), but it's not working. Does it work with PSB?

I've been using it on my home TB (I use the window too often at work to keep it in the tray) and LOVE it.

What version of PSB are you using?

I don't know of any way to add extensions prior to v0.3, but in 0.3, in the tools menu, click on add-ons, and you get the standard Mozilla extensions and themes window. Add MTT as you would any other extension. If add-ons isn't available, you're using v0.2 or earlier. v0.3a2 is the only release of v0.3 available as a portable app (as far as I know, anyway), but it's right there on the main SBP page, next to v0.2. And I imagine the final release of PSB v0.3 can't be far off, since the non-portable version just came out.

I was using the old one

I had been using 0.2, but upgraded and could install it. Unfortunately, it's crashing when I try to edit the options for minimize to tray.
