I just bought a Seagate Freeagent GoFlex Ultra-Portable Drive (1TB) and installed Portable Apps Platform along with my favourite Portable Apps. My understanding is you cant eject this Portable hard drive at all? even from the portable apps platform?

is it usb connected? well the it depends on what other special software runs on it, but in general all such devices need to be ejected, otherwise those are not portable devices.
