Is there a simple list of apps & versions

Hi,

Is there a single place/page that lists all the apps featured on PortableApps and their current version? Maybe something like an RSS feed? If not, maybe a static page or file for each app?

I'm looking to create a script that will update my key automatically, and need someplace to find the current versions available.

Thanks.

You can't

Downloads are hosted on SourceForge which doesn't support direct downloads. So, although it could check if you have the latest version, you'd still need to manually download the files.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Actually, there does appear to be a way

The GnuWin32 project (which hosts win32 versions of GNU'd linux apps) has a download and maintance tool available for download the used wget to download stuff from sourceforge and to auto-update the package. Maybe thats worth a look?

Edit: forgot to include a link Sad
The homepage for the updater/maintenance program I mentioned is http://getgnuwin32.sourceforge.net/

Not true. I have a script

Not true. I have a script that can download the apps, but at this point I have to look at the app's page to find out what the current version is, and then check that against what I have.

That would be perfect - if

That would be perfect - if it included version information!

In fact, the feed http://external.portableapps.com/feeds/portableapps_list.xml doesn't even include all the apps!

The only other feed that I've found is news - unless you're aware of another feed....
