Scenario:
I have a longish email that I've already sent to a long list of recipients, it's now in my Sent folder. Now I want to resend it to another group of recipients, so I use the "Edit as new" function. However, and this is the point, I cannot find a way of deleting all the "old" recipients before inserting the "new" ones - like Ctrl+A in Windows and then delete them all in one go.
Any ideas anyone? And yes, I have tried posting this in the Mozilla forums but no luck - a number of people have also posted this question but the answers lie mostly in the reigh "why do you want to do this" - quite annoying!

Search for an add-on called ResetRec in Thunderbird.
Thanks a lot, just what I wanted!!
I'd also recommend an add-on called QuickText which lets you have pre-defined text to drop into any email you'd like. So you could have the whole email in QuickText and just drop it into any new email you create.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
which I haden't quite thought of, but also works like a dream, thanks a lot!!
