Can't Reproduce

I can't reproduce this. Are you launching it in any non-standard way? Also, please list your operating system, install location, any plugins and extensions you are using, etc. I'd wager it's a misbehaving plugin or extension.

Thanks for your reply. My OS

Thanks for your reply.

My OS is Windows 7 SP1 64bit. I downloaded the FirefoxPortable_12.0.paf file and installed it in PortableApps.com_Platform application. Then I copied the whole FirefoxPortable folder to D:\Program Files\.

Following is the addons I used.

Download Statusbar

Easy YouTube Video Downloader

Mozilla Archive Format, with MHT and Faithful Save

https://addons.mozilla.org/zh-CN/firefox/addon/tab-utilities/

BTW, I also tried to make a new copy of FirefoxPortable, but the same issue occured.

Install Location

Is d:\Program Files your actual program files location for windows? If so, that's not a supported location and is why the unstaller prevents you from using it. Please try a clean install to a different location. Also ensure you have a valid TEMP directory defined and there is plenty of space in it.

c: is my os drive. I created d:\Program Files and put many 'green' applications in it. I have used Firefox portable lots of months and seems I only get this issue these months.

BTW, Firefox portable is a portable application, right? So I can put it in any folder I want.

What did you mean by "ensure you have a valid TEMP directory defined"? My C: drive and D: drive have enough space.

Windows treat "Program Files" folders differently

from what I understand, Windows treats programs in a "Program Files" folder differently (breaking the portability of FireFox Portable?) and that is (I think?) causing the problem.
