*sigh*
I'm getting terribly frustrated with my Thunderbird Portable.
I've been using it correctly - exiting, using the Portable Apps exit so I can keep it from corrupting.
But yesterday all the message filters for one of my accounts simply disappeared. Not to mention the retention rules for the folders.
Today? All the filters for the second account and all of the folders I created for it are gone.
Anyone else getting this type of error?

You are closing Thunderbird Portable first, correct? Not the platform, but Thunderbird itself and waiting for it to close and finish writing before ejecting or shutting down Windows.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Yeah I've had some early close out issues before and have been much better at it.
However, I'm still having a ton of issues - Thunderbird being the most oft used app.
So I ordered a new USB drive and we'll see if my old one was defective.
