Actually, there are 12 mirrors. Downloads are handled via SourceForge's mirror network with download servers all over the world. When you click the Download button you're taken to a page on SourceForge which shows you all the possible servers you can download from. If you can't reach that page, then whatever network you're on is blocking SourceForge (some odd companies do this) and you'll have to wait until you're on another network.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
