Hi, I heard about a limitation factor (cycle of read and write) on usb flash drives. Is an application like Firefox portable, ran for 4hours/day, can quickly damage these kind of drives?

Search for flash drive life. to answer your question, ffp and all portable apps are desgined to reduce writes to flash drives. the usual lifetime of a flash drive is around 100,000 to 1,000,000 writes.
Again search the forums, there are about 5 topics about this.
Thank you. The drive I just bought is an ATP Toughdrive, announced to work until 1,000,000 writes. Do you have an idea of how many writes per hour does Firefox portable?
