First of all, many thanks to everybody for the work done on Portableapps!
I have a sugestion concerning portable apps for GIS, there isn't GIS applications on PortableApps.
I have seen some discution about QuantumGIS etc...
Here, an article about "PortableGIS" from Geotribu (which made some advert for PortableApps!: http://geotribu.net/node/542#news13
So why this PortableGIS (http://www.archaeogeek.com/portable-gis.html) can't be including in PortableApps? It could be very nice!

I see no PortableApps.com Format release of their app anywhere. In order to be on PortableApps.com, the app must be in PortableApps.com Format (so it's truly portable and works with the app store and updater), submitted and tested to ensure full portability and then posted by us. The announcement was just GIS creating a portable version with a custom installer. It's not in any standardized portable format.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
