Does the current version of firefox use less ram than 3.6?

Hi
I use 3.6 and it uses 150megs or so at times,does the newest
version use less??

Stop Using 3.6

Regardless of RAM use, I'd suggest you stop using 3.6 immediately. It has severe unpatched vulnerabilities including remote exploit issues. It was abandoned quite a while ago.
