Why can I not access https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions.php?app=firefox
I get the loving message of,
The connection has timed out
The server at addons.mozilla.org is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Yet the same applies to hotmail, nothing else seem to bother it.
As a side note I am using a proxyserver on port 80.
This should not effect it...
I have not tried installing the non portable version, is this wort trying before saying it is a bug with the portable version?
Have you tried loading other pages? Are you at home or are you using a computer that you don't control (like work or the library)?

Hi, I am the computer technician for my company and I am using my own pc that I have full control over.
I have just tried using the IP of the proxyserver and this does not fix it either.
Also I have been happly using digg, portable apps, google, leenks, and many other pages with this browser.
I am currently using Firefox Portable 2.0 RC 3 to type up this message.
It sounds like and SSL problem to me, make sure that you SSL settings are set up for the proxy.
