however there are some suggestions that could make the app updater more functional ..
- fold/unfold for each category (to be remembered by the platform)
- a global fold/unfold
- a show/hide deta/dev
- an active search box

The language the updater/app store is currently written in has some huge limitations so these currently can't be done, or can only be done in very dodgy ways. It is planned to be rewritten in another language, and some of these ideas have already been suggested.
Regarding showing beta and dev tests, the platform already has an option in settings to show/not show advanced apps.
Development tests will probably never be included as there are a) far too many to track and b) so many that just stop being developed without notification and download links become dead c) no possible way to ensure every single one is virus/malware free.
