Drive To be formated/Formated to exFAT. (please look at cluster size)

At my side, i have a 64 Gig. USB Thumb Drive. I have see that with exFAT format, the cluster is 128KB by default. Then at my side, for ~20Gig. of data with 128KB cluster, it take in real ~50Gig. of data space.

Before format a drive to exFAT, please verify cluster option.

Consider Contents

It also helps to consider the contents. If it's mostly larger files like MP3s and some documents, 128KB is just fine. If it's a ton of files that are a few KB each, all of them will take up 128KB and that's not fine.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
