Most things that claim to 'lock' folders are doing one of two things. Either using some tricks to hide it from Windows Explorer (fake security) or encrypting everything in the folder, storing it in a file and then deleting the original files - hopefully securely - which will be quite slow.
Neither are an ideal solution to security, which is better handled using a hardware encryption drive.
All that said, we will be debuting some products that meet both these needs in the near future, with appropriate warnings and explanations of course.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
