Just wondering what's happened to my favicons. They are showing on my tabs and my bookmarks but not on my address bar. They use to show up until I updated to FF 15.0.1. Now it just shows a world icon. Is there a setting to change it back or is it just the way it is now? Not a big deal cos everything else works fine.

Mozilla has reacted to possible fraud by online criminals and shows the favicon of an open Web page no longer next to the URL in the Location bar. Therefore now appears only a gray globe ball as favicon. This should prevent, that malicious addresses feign security by certain icons. But the favicon still appears in the tab. Or you install the Addon Favicon Restorer 1.4, so that now the favicon again appears in Location bar.
Installed the plugin and it works fine. Is there any security risk with this plugin? Something you mentioned about malicious address feign security. Not sure yet if this plugin will work on other computers. Had trouble with plugins before.

I am convinced that this plugin is safe. Also I think, that this plugin will work on other computers. Therefore, you must decide if you still want to use this plugin, because now malicious addresses can feign security by certain icons as I already have mentioned above.
