Developer,internet,music,picture categories are nice
But my Utilities now contains very different apps.
I want to have own categories and to keep native division (to compare with portableapps.com)
Or to have ability to restore native categorizing.
You are here

You can't create subcategories (yet) but you can change the category an app is in. In the platform just right click an app and go to Category. Here you can select a different category or add a new one.
There is currently no way to restore apps to their default category apart from selecting the original category again, or modifying one of the platform's settings files directly.
Yes.. All categories are fine but Utilities is problem for me too..
One way you can kind of fool the Platform into making subcategories is to make categories with names like "Utilities - Archiving" and "Utilities - System Tools" or something like that.
You will still know the original category, plus you have better separation of the apps.
I mentioned it before in a feature request but it would be nice if you could nest categories in categories or an app under an app (like an IPFilter downloader under uTorrent app instead of a category/folder).
That nesting would be good for an app like LibreOffice which shows multiple, it you weren't using it it wouldn't take so many spaces up.
