Intigration of MM Flash in Firefox Portable?

How I implement common PlugIns like Macromedia Flash or other very important PlugIns in the Firefox Portable? I have installed different Extension, but i was not able to implement Plugins, like the Flash one. Or several Multimedia Players?

Can anybody help me? Tobias

Normal XPI works

The normal Flash XPI install works. As does downloading the installer and pointing it to Portable Firefox's location. You can also manually copy the DLL as mentioned on the support page.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

where i can get the xpi

where i can get the xpi installtion link for flash or shockwave? Because I tried to copy them manually, but it did not work. ... As well as the links for same video stuff like the Apple Player or a Windows Media Player?

It is a great idea to make the programms portable!!! A what is about a "Portable Winamp" Version Wink

Thanks for your help and the ones again for the heavy work!!! Tobias

Automatic

The XPI tries to install automatically when you visit a page with flash. As for copying the DLLs manually, it works just fine as long as you follow the directions to the letter.

Sort of works

Mr. Haller, Happy New Year to you and thank you for portabalizing Firefox!!

I have copied the proper DLL to the portablefirefox/plugins directory and it only halfway works. A Flash'd page will load, and any sound effects will work, but there is no visual and no install prompt. Somehow, it's being blocked, but how? Tried using a fresh DLL, and that did nothing.

Thanks in advance,
Darren

Extension?

It could be an extension. It works out of box otherwise.

Got it

That was easy enough. Can't believe I didn't figure that out.
Checking "Obj-Tab" within Adblock effectively blocked me from seeing intros from various pages like www.canadiens.com

Thanks!
