Downgrade due to addon-issues - howto?

Due to many problems with my favorite addons, I've decided to downgrade to a previous FireFox version. Please could anyone be so kind to give me a link, where I can dowload the PortableApp FireFox v16.0.2 (am I right, that this one is the latest v16 Release?).

Looking into the download-section, I've only found elder versions. Further I wanna know, if there could occure any problems with my profile when downgrading to a previous major release?

Many thanks in advance

Don't, But If You Must

The first piece of advice is: Don't. Firefox 17 fixes 16 security vulnerabilities. You can no longer use Firefox 16.x safely online. So, it's a far better option to temporarily live without your favorite add-on or find an alternative than to put your entire computer at risk.

If you must use the add-on for something in particular, you can find old versions in our SourceForge project's Firefox Portable directory. Please be sure only to use it for your specific add-on's purpose and not as your primary web browser on other sites.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Well, many thanks. It's

Well, many thanks. It's always nice to get advices by people who know more than normal-users like me. I've read many articles about the actual addon-issues with FF17 and many users choosed the downgrade option - so I thought it would be ok for me too, but if this would be high-risk I won't anymore.

And it's great, that you just don't say don't, but give also the option to get in the risk if really needed. Many thanks once more.
