Is there any way to be able to run portable firefox along side regular firefox? I have a USB drive that I run FF from... but also connect it at home. My wife also uses this computer and often leaves several windows open. This prevents me from running the portable version because firefox.exe is already loaded.
Is there any way to be able to run both at the same time?
In the included help.html, there's a link to advanced options that explains it.

Thank you sir... I'll have a look.
Obviously I missed that.
I can't find the link you're talking about (something to do with advanced anyway). Is it in the 1507 file or the new version 2 file? I have 1507.
Read this file:
FirefoxPortable\Other\FirefoxPortableSource\readme.txt

OK, I didn't know you meant the readme in the code folder.
But something's wrong here. My folder is FirefoxPortable\Other\FirefoxSource and the readme only points to the website where to download it at https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
Sorry. Not sure what's wrong. Different version or something?

There are TWO folders...
FirefoxPortable\Other\FirefoxSource
and
FirefoxPortable\Other\FirefoxPortableSource
You picked the wrong one. I said the second one.

OMG... somebody slap me.
I'm not sure if I was blind, on crack, or if there was a legitimate problem... but I REALLY didn't see that yesterday (or the day before -- whenever I was stupid enough to post last).
Thanks for being so kind to an idiot and not totally slamming me for my stupidity!!

Hello,
I've changed the INI file to read 'AllowMultipleInstances=true' but the portable version still wants the regular one closed before it will run.
Have I missed something?
Read the readme.txt. Or the note right at the bottom of the INI itself.
