Firefox 17.0

There seems to be a problem with the latest version of FF 17.0 in that you can edit your cookie settings and exceptions and that the profile database for such settings isnt retaining the information. Apparently it throws it out as a bug and ignores the error so nothing is seen just the entry is deleted.

I have noticed this occuring when logging into several forums and it accepts and logs me in then reloads the page but Iam logged out. I have altered several settings within FF and it still occurs.

Having googled "cookie errors firefox 17" it seems there is a problem and many people have downgraded to 16 as there is no real simple solution as yet.
