- Install Comodo Dragon with the portable setting checked.
- Install Silverlight Plugin, e.g. when prompted by an attempt to Watch Instantly on Netflix.
- Copy Silverlight files (omitting all localization files [if you wish] and all *.exe and *.ni.dll files) to any_new_folder in Dragon's root directory.
- Uninstall Silverlight.
- Create a shortcut to launch Dragon and append " --load-plugin=./any_new_folder/npctrl.dll" (w/o quotes) to the shortcut's Target field in the Properties dialog under the Shortcut tab.
Tested on Windows 7 x64 only. This manner of installing Silverlight or Dragon may not result in a program that can move between 32- and 64-bit machines, and definitely will not move across OS's without breaking. Post a reply if you discover that it will or will not work on both 32- and 64-bit Windows systems.
Note: Launching Dragon with the --single-process flag under these conditions breaks Silverlight.
Seems updating breaks the browser as well. F'this stuff, looking for another route.
