Why not make a choice for mirror of sf?

Why not make a choice for mirror of sf?

Hi,

I'm Chinese and I love PortableApps.com very much, but downloading is slow because it connects the server in US. I know that every portable app is downloaded in sf, so why no add a param to the url to change the mirror to accelerate the download speed? Just make a combo box.

At the SourceForge level

We don't control that; we pass it off to SourceForge to figure that out. It typically selects the best mirror, but sometimes selecting one yourself (which you can do from the final download page) can produce better results.
