the idea just came to me one day, i would like to know if anybody would be willing to try to build a small program for windows 7 that runs silently in the background but when you plug in a flash drive or device with portable apps on it, there is an option in the AutoPlay that says launch PortableApps Platform. If there is already something similar please let me know.

AutoPlay can only be specifically registered custom apps, so it would show up for every USB drive you plug in, regardless of whether the PA.c Platform is on it or not, which is confusing.
We do have an autoplay utility which automatically starts the PA.c Platform as an old test version: https://portableapps.com/node/13770
It's expecting the old version of the platform, so it looks for StartPortableApps.exe instead of STart.exe. So, if you rename it, it'll work.

Thank you ill try that and see if it works like i want it to, i have a shortcut on my desktop that comes from my flash drive but i dont like having to open it from the shortcut every time i plug in my flash drive i just want it to open as soon as i plug it in.
