PortableApps virtualised

Hi folks, I was wondering whether it is possible to use a pendrive with PA installed as a source for a virtual machine in e.g. Virtualbox. Any idea on this? Or even experiences?

Virtualbox and most (if not

Virtualbox and most (if not all) similar programs are not portable (and cannot be made portable due to drivers), but if you have access to install on every computer you go to, this can work.

I use VirtualBox installed both at home and at work to run the same VMs from my 1Tb portable harddrive, and the only issues I have are due to my work PC having limited RAM to work with, otherwise it all works fine.

Hey winterblood, thanks for

Hey winterblood, thanks for your answer. I see that I have been not precise enough earlier. What I want to do is:
a) make an .iso from my pen drive (with PA and all the portable software installed on it)
c) use this .iso as the source for a virtualisation.

I just figured that I perhaps have to make a bootable pendrive first.

Has someone tried out what I'd like to do?
