Simple question: If I change the files in "OperaPortable/App/Opera" with 64bit native Opera's one, does it keep on working properly? All my computers are 64bit. So I want to use 64bit version.

It should work that way in theory, yes. You likely won't notice any speed difference, though.

So you sad that it will work fully portable. I wonder its directories and registry entreis may be different. Does it left any reg in registry?

last update removed everything, and I can't find any support forum for Opera in the forums

Did you copy Opera 64 unaltered to your App\Opera directory? If so, it would have set Opera to store your settings in the App\Opera directory in which case they will be wiped out on upgrade. You need to preserve our special operaprefs_default.ini file.
To be clear, messing about with the App\Opera directory is unsupported and likely will cause you problems later. If you want to use Opera 64-bit for some reason (it will not result in a noticeable increase in speed), please use the standard partially portable version Opera provides.

I added in an additional safety check in the latest release even if a user copies in a full Opera install and corrupts the operaprefs_default.ini. Note that you need to ensure you do not delete the operaprefs_default_portable.ini file.

Ok, I actually fixed it myself by editing the default.ini file on the former update.
But with this second one, all is f*cked up.
I tried editing it again, and when I run the application, it will delete the ini file.
So I thought, leave it unchanged, and move my profile to INITIALDATAPATH
I did that. Now I have duplicate profile, 1 in INITIALDATAPATH and 1 in Data
and to top it off, my extensions preferences aren't saved.
PS: I used the update function from the suite .

It should still be noted that even with this safety check and info, you're on your own with regards to replacing the existing Opera version. We're not testing or supporting it. Honestly, you're probably better using the kinda of portable standard Opera install if you want 64-bit. It'll show up in the platform without issue.
