FIXED: Iron 25.0.1400.0 (185000) Flash Issue

I'm just wondering if anyone is experiencing any issues with Flash using the latest version of Iron. It could be specific to one particular website but I get corrupt "graphics" (actually text) in a particular Flash application (Weewar.com for the curious). It was working fine in a prior version of Iron but not so much now.

As this screenshot shows, some of the text at the top and to the right is corrupt.

I haven't reported it on the Iron forums yet but I thought I'd stop here first and see if any portable appers had notice Flash problems with other sites.

Research

I've done a bit of research for you:

In our Iron package, the SRWare portable package, and the installed package, I see the same issue as you've discovered.

However, all other apps I've tested, which include all of our other browsers, as well as the installed versions of Firefox and IE, and none of them exhibit the same behaviour.

Accordingly, it appears to me that the problem is with how Iron interacts with flash player. There doesn't seem to be any reports of this previously, at least not that I can find, anyhow.

Known Issue with Iron Non-Portable

Thanks for your research. I was always fairly confident this was an Iron issue and not necessarily Portable related.

I did get around to posting on the Iron forums and, in a round about way they responded that this was a known issue and would be fixed in a future release. Beyond that, I have no additional information. I guess I'll just have to sit tight and hope it's fixed in the next release.

Thanks again.

Resolved with 26.0.1450.0 Release

I guess this was actually an issue with Chromium and resolved in the latest release of that. Consequently, the latest release of Iron (26.0.1450.0) also resolves the issue.
