Can't get rid of bad Console Portable configuration

I just installed Console Portable and tried to configure it to open Cygwin Portable. I opened up the configuration window for Console and pointed it at one of Cygwin's .exe files -- the wrong one. when i tried to open Console, it tried to run Cygwin, and both crashed.
OK, so I uninstalled Console Portable, then reinstalled it. Same thing happened. I uninstalled again, exited the PortableApps launcher, restarted the computer, reinstalled Console, tried to start Console again, and got the same crash.
I can't find any .ini file that tells Console what to load on startup. Any ideas? is this in the Registry somewhere?
Thanks, R. Murphy

Clarification

are you referring to console portable's shell: setting, or something else?

The shell setting.

The shell setting.

Shell = Local

If you set Console Portable as your shell environment, it would then keep its settings locally. So, you'll need to head into APPDATA and delete it.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thanks for your reply, but

Thanks for your reply, but I'm afraid you will have to tell me how I can head into APPDATA. Thanks, R.M.

%APPDATA% or %LOCALAPPDATA%

Just type %APPDATA% or %LOCALAPPDATA% in the explorer or the start menu search bar and press enter. I give you 2 choices, since I don't know where the setting is stored exactly. I hope this helps Blum

Yes, I set the working directory!
