Menu enhancement request

Would it be possible to add a parameter key to the Control section of the appinfo.ini file so a user could specify a parameter to be passed to the app?

(apologies if asked before, searched but couldn't find)

Coming

It will be in the menu itself but not in the appinfo. You'll be able to right-click and add them.

You can already add parameters to nearly all our apps by copying the AppNamePortable.ini from the AppNamePortable\Other\Source directory to the AppNamePortable directory (alongside AppNamePortable.exe) and editing the file and adding your options to the AdditionalParameters= line.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Non-PAF apps

I want to be able to add parameters for non-PAF apps. Will this be possible?

As said, "It will be in the menu itself but not in the appinfo. You'll be able to right-click and add them." Non-PAF apps don't have an appinfo.ini, it's only for PAF apps.

"Non-PAF apps don't have an appinfo.ini". - my non-PAF apps do - that's how I am able to keep them in their folders were they have always been (moving them into the PortableApps folder can break things)

Anyway thanks for replying, looks like I will be able stop using ASuite+PAM and just use PAM soon.
