Portable FF 2.0RC -> FFP 2.0 German version -> loading problems

Im using FF portable very long time now.
Every version before I did the same procedure:
-DL an official portable FF
-Exchange the programm folder with an official german version.
This had been working fine every time.

Now I did the same with a FFP 2.0RC and an official FF2.0 German.
It works fine too, but from time to time I had some problems

Starting Firefox on my home PC
- I have other bookmarks (mostly a bookmark.html from an very old local profile)
- all profile-settings on default ( p.e. "download to desktop")
- all filter of addblock plus are gone
All this happens in my portable profile and this is a permanent change.

Maybe there is a loader problem or so because of the PR status.

For now I restore a backup of the bookmark.html.
Can somebody give me advices how to save the settings and the addblock filters for a simple restore procedure.
