First off I just wish to say howdy to yal, and thank you for your works. Found yal looking for a way to sort / categorize the apps I have... and in the process found some apps to replace the ones I have beings they fit my tastes and or are smaller in size.
So here we go. No I do not have any apps on a usb stick, flash drive. I am running them on my laptop that is being treated like a desktop.
First and foremost, I would like to know the opposite of the answers I found via search here on the forum. I want to replace MickyMouseSoft apps with PortableApps or other 3rd party apps. Explorer++ first. How do I go about making it the defacto winExplorer? IE. I dbl click a desktop shortcut ++ jumps to run instead of MMSoft.
Second, was kinda answered in other topic page, and this goes with sort / categorize, How do I add new categories to the left side of the main Portable App launcher. Also can I add sub=cats.
I forgot to mention at beginning that I am Multi-personalited. And I am starting to drift. Stop here for now and continue again when Wollie is totaly here.

Been playing with yals apps and reading a lot last few days, have one problem and one complaint.
What runtime am I needing for, DTaskManager? I get Run-time error '5' Invalid procedure call or argument. Have .net, flash, C, and others, Modules listed in in add/remove programs.
(add note -- after DTaskManager updated yesterday, It stays on screen a few seconds as before update it popped the error 5 almost as soon as I clicked to run it.)
This might seem dumb to yal but. The Platform... why is it using MickyMouseSoft's WinExplorer when I right click an app and explore whilst I have Explorer++Portable instaled?
Can't stay long today, so last question, what app of yals would you suggest to use to trim parts out of home movies and merger back together, without having to find that converter program to change it back to avi or mp3 (or is it mp4). And mpg. {mother-in-law paid few hundred dollars to have videos digitized and the quack that did it, did so in them 3 formats.}
