Browser downloads with JPortable built-in

hi,
i don't use the PortableApp framework but i appreciate all of downloads here.

i would like to see made available download links for say portable Opera, Firefox etc that have JPortable (java) built in to them and the browser is ready to go. reason for this is that Java is such a security risk that most of us won't install it on our systems but it would be very useful to have a portable browser to access chats and other website stuff from time to time that need Java. i don't see any instructions on how to use JPortable with portable browsers without installing the Portable Apps framework so it would be good if this was available as a simple already included download.

what say you?

Licensing Does Not Permit, Illegal

Bundling Java with Firefox or Opera is not permitted by the licensing of either the browser or of Java. If you see any such packages out there, they're done illegally and likely have other nasties within.

thanks John. are there easy

thanks John.

are there easy to follow instructions anywhere on how to add JPortable to PA browsers without having the Portable Apps framework installed?

i would just like to download these portable browsers and then add all the config settings(disable geo, cache etc), maybe add java etc and then copy several times from this original folder. then when i use the copied browsers i can just delete them after use and recopy another from the original because i don't trust that these browsers aren't leaving identifying and tracking data all over the computer.

Framework Best, Manual

Framework is best since it's just point and click. You'll also be able to reset the browser's settings shortly (equivalent to uninstalling and reinstalling fresh) via the platform.

To do it manually, just create a PortableApps or similar folder and install all your browsers to that. Then install jPortable to the PortableApps\CommonFiles\Java folder. All the browsers will use it.
